Your journey begins at 8:30 am aboard Aquarius II as we cruise to Fitzroy Island, where you’ll enjoy 2.5 hours of island time. Your package includes snorkelling gear to use at both islands, or you can swap that for a glass bottom boat tour at either Fitzroy or Green Island. Feeling adventurous? Upgrade with a guided Snorkel Safari for an immersive reef encounter, or simply stroll along the white sandy shores.
At 11:45 am, we transfer you to Green Island with fascinating commentary along the way. On arrival, you’ll have 3.5 hours to unwind, explore, or join in more optional activities – such as the semi-submarine tour, another Snorkel Safari, or browsing the island’s shops and walking tracks. For lunch, pre-book a freshly packed boxed lunch or enjoy the popular Big Cat buffet on board.

Total price includes a levy of $5 per person for recovery of Fitzroy Island facilities license fees, admin costs & charges. All walking tracks on Fitzroy Island are through National Park. If walking these tracks, please do so at your own risk. Walking tracks are not patrolled.

Snorkel safari tour

Our Snorkel Safari is suitable for those comfortable in the water and competent snorkellers.
Exclusive access to areas not accessible to other guests. A boat will drop guests and our Marine Biologist a off the island. A great introduction to the reef with commentary. 50 minute tour including snorkelling equipment, lycra suits and vests.

Semi submarine tour
Available at Green Island only.
Explore Green Island’s underwater world, part of the Great Barrier Reef in air-conditioned comfort on our exclusive Semi-Submarine tour without even getting wet!
Seated below water level, passengers are treated to a divers view of the coral reef and marine life with informative commentary by the crew and see the lively fish feeding. This vessel seats 27 passengers and cruises for approx. 30 minutes.
